Who I Am

Designer who builds

Malik Zhang in the workshop, arms folded on a red cabinet, with the 3D printers behind him.

Product designer trained in industrial design and HCI. Two apps on the App Store, a developer tool with a published benchmark, and the system a graduate program runs its equipment on, all designed and built end to end.

Daily Life

Outside the studio

The rituals, media, and motion that keep thinking grounded. Nothing performative, just what actually shows up.

Connect

Coffee or a climb?

I'm in Seattle and easy to reach. If you want to talk design, AI, or whatever you're building, the invitation is open: an espresso, a bouldering session, or a plain email.
